Moosh – Fulham Broadway

It’s still freezing outside. We are officially in spring yet I feel the need to wear my huge blanket style scarf from River Island EVERYWHERE! I woke up this morning and had a brunch date with one of my besties……..needless to say they stood me up so I was left wondering what to do with my morning. To hell with it – I went off on my own for a solo breakfast date. iPad in hand – scarf on.

I live in Fulham and am very lucky to have loads of great caf├ęs and brunch spots on my doorstep. One of my favourites is Moosh in Fulham Broadway. If I am honest stepping inside this little cafe situated a stones throw from the station I sometimes forget I’m in London. The decor is unique – there is a lemon tree (albeit not real) smack in the middle of the seating area, tree trunks and lemons dotted everywhere and fruit crates strategically displaying this weeks latest Time Out issue. This place is one of my usual haunts in the summer because of the outside seating, gorgeous fresh tasting smoothies and incredible pancakes and waffles! However I have never been here when it’s cold and dreary……you know the day – you want good coffee and a good eggs Benedict!

This is where Moosh falls short. Their eggs based cooked brekkies just don’t hit the spot. The menu is slightly limited and the portions are small. Basically if you are entertaining a bunch of rugby boys for breakfast they will leave starving!

That said I will 100% return here time and time again – I might just wait for the sun to shine so I can get a plate loaded with healthy pancakes and fresh fruit! I didn’t take any photos of my breakfast because it didnt do anything for me. Instead I will leave you with a photo from a happier warmer time so you can see what Moosh does best!!
