Manuka Kitchen – London’s best brunch??

I am literally obsessed with going for brunch.  It has become like a Sunday ritual for me – and finding the best brunch spot in London is now one of my biggest goals!  A good gym session followed by a mound of yolk porn is my idea of the perfect Sunday (for those of you who have never heard of ‘yolk porn’ then please head straight to Instagram and search for #yolkporn… can thank me later.)

I couldn’t start this blog without telling you about my FAVOURITE place to have brunch. All foodies will tell you that Manuka honey is a kind of magical golden nectar that can heel almost anything so what better name for a cute brunch spot that Manuka Kitchen?

manukakitchen3Manuka Kitchen in Fulham is hands down the best place to get brunch ever (in my opinion). Situated in the heart of Fulham Broadway I might be a little bit biased towards this place because it’s so close to my gym making life so so easy on a wintery Sunday afternoon………but it is definitely worth checking out no matter where you live in London.

Firstly, the food!! The menu is just scrummy. I always get something different when I go because there is so much choice and everything sounds too good to be true. It is quite an extensive menu, it has all of your typical Royales and Benedicts mixed in with some blueberry pancakes, corn fritters and omelettes – and the best coffee. I don’t say that lightly either because when it comes to coffee I am hard to please.

I love this coffee!

I love this coffee!!!

Last week, after a not so successful gym session I headed to Manuka Kitchen hoping to turn a bad day into a good one! We usually have to book but luckily there was space for us. The staff, who are amazingly friendly and offer great customer service, did their best to fit us in so high five to them! They must have known coffee was needed pronto because I was waiting about two minutes before my deliciously fluffy cappuccino was in front of me.

Food envy is a huge issue in this place. I spent most of the next few minutes eyeing up all of the dishes making their way from the kitchen. One of the staff spotted this and popped over to have a chat. He pointed out all of the dishes coming and helped me make a decision (a task that would have otherwise taken about 50 hours). I eventually decided on the blueberry pancakes. If you had seen them you wouldn’t have believed they were real. One was more than enough but I managed to eat three. The fluffiest lightest pancakes I’ve ever eaten (with the exception of my Valentines Day brekkie…..check out my Instagram and be jealous).

Blueberry pancakes!

Blueberry pancakes!

The boy got the Full Fulham – which is their full English breakfast. I already knew this was a good choice because I am slowly making my way through every item on this menu but he gave it a big thumbs up and left full! I was so happy with my pancakes but obviously got food envy as the two girls sat opposite us were eating omelettes. They looked unreal and I will 100% be ordering those next time.

The sugar on the pancake for this place is definitely the staff. They are so friendly and the service is great. I love it!!
