Still on the search for the best breakfast in town I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my birthday morning than by going to the closest brunch possible – Fulham Kitchen. I don’t usually like my birthdays but this year I thought why not – I’ll celebrate this and get all my friends together. Why don’t I like my birthday? I honestly have no idea. I don’t like being an inconvenience or the cause of stress so I tend to avoid making a fuss. But fuss this year I will…..and when a fuss is made a good hearty start to the day is needed. I am very lucky to live in Fulham, an area that plays home to so many great restaurants and cafes. A few months ago the little terraced café on Munster Road got new owners and a little make over. Out pops Fulham Kitchen – a place that sells AMAAAAZING coffee, good food and a tonne of banter.
The vibe is chilled, eclectic and Mediterranean! A dusted blue outface, large wooden walls and terracotta pots hanging from the wall make this café just so relaxed – I didn’t feel like I was in London whilst I sipped my coffee and ate my waffles. And the best bit…………the outdoor terrace – large black tables and a south facing deck mean that this is a perfect sun spot – (hello freckles).
The menu contains all your typical breakfast items – nothing mental here just good food at a very reasonable price. The staff are from Serbia and are great. You can tell they really care about the success of the place because their customer service is top notch…..and very genuine.
