Its safe to say I live my life through my little diary and this week I would have been completely lost without it. I had something on every single night. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Monday – Class Pass
From the joys of Classpass I hit up Transition Zone in Parsons Green and tackeled their HiperZone workout. I loved it and felt so energised after. Its a great HIIT workout and the perfect way to start the week.
Tuesday – CocoproBootcamp
I was lucky enough to be invited to a Cocopro Bootcamp held in their offices in South London. I love events like this where I get to meet a load of like minded people and just have a giggle whilst working out. We were put through our paces by three ladies who grace our instragram pages frequently; Adrienne from That’s My Mum, Lilly Sabri (unreal body!) and the wonderful Em Furey!! We had a DJ on hand to keep the tunes blasting and loads of coconut water to rehydrate. I have to be honest – I’m not a fan of coconut water but this stuff is great. It is yogurt like and has 20g of protein. I will definitely be buying more.
Wednesday – CHILLAXING
I had to chill. My legs were actually in bits from the Cocopro workout. I blame Em Furey.
Thursday The 1MPACT CLUB feat. Pimps and Pinups, Chop’d, Propercorn, Lovo, BLK, Belevedere, PIP&NUT, Neat Nutrition
Thursday was a tonnnne of fun! I was invited by Lou from Lu de Lux to join 149 other health and fitness bloggers for the launch of her new concept THE 1MPACT CLUB at 1Rebel. And man does she know how to throw a party. I did the Reshape workout which consisted of treadmill sprints and HIIT style floor workouts, sipped champers and ate gorgous food after, got my hair braided and received Nutrition advice! The buzz was electric – the gym was full of the most influential faces on the London fitness circuit and everyone there shared a passion. I will be doing a separate post on 1Rebel itself but as far as THE 1IMPACT CLUB goes im expecting great things from Lou. I cant wait for the next event.
Friday – Ride Republic and Sticks and Sushi
Friday evenings are either my chance to head out and have a few drinks or I head home and pamper myself so I rarely workout on a Friday night. Instead I like to get my moving done first thing in the morning. Ride Republic in Parsons Green is my absolute favourite spin studio so I booked in for an early morning Burn ride. The burn class at Ride has the added motivation of a ‘score’ board up on the wall that reflects how hard you are working out. It adds an element of competition into the room and if you are anything like me – it makes you work that bit harder because you don’t want to be last!! You want to be FIRST!
I love sports and I love watching sport. For the boys birthday I got us tickets to the Rugby quarter final so we headed down to Cardiff for the day to cheer on France (Go northern hemisphere). Unfortunately it wasn’t France’s day but Cardiff was alive with rugby fans and The Millenium Stadium was unreal. I have been so lucky to have attended to many Rugby World Cup games whilst England have hosted – I don’t want it to end
I don’t even want to talk about Ireland being knocked out of the world cup so we will pretend this day didn’t happen.
